Física y astronomía: “Nuevas plataformas para computación cuántica”

Santiago y Viña del Mar
Tipo de Evento: Seminario
Organiza: Facultad de Artes Liberales,  Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias
Dónde: Online, vía Zoom
Público: Académicos
Horario: 15:00:00 hr

Invitado: Raul Santos

Bio: Raul Santos is a condensed matter theorist, interested in the connection between quantum many-body physics and quantum information. During his career he has worked in integrable systems, entanglement measures and strongly correlated electronic systems. He is thrilled about connecting the techniques developed in quantum information theory with the simulation of physical systems in NISQ devices. Raul did his PhD in Physics at Stony Brook University in USA. Before joining Phasecraft, he was a postdoctoral researcher in Israel (Bar-Ilan/Weizmann Institute) and UK (Birmingham and Cambridge).
