Invitado: Diego Muñoz

Bio: Diego Muñoz is a computational astrophysicist at Northwestern University’s Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA). His research interests cover diverse aspects of planet formation and dynamics, as well as the formation and evolution of stellar binaries. His areas of expertise include numerical methods for direct hydrodynamical simulations, few body gravitational dynamics, planet and binary migration, astrophysical fluid dynamics and sub-millimeter interferometry. He is also interested in data mining, time series and Bayesian statistics. Before moving to Northwestern, he was a Research Associate at Cornell University (2013-2016), and before that, a graduate student at Harvard University (PhD, 2013). During 2017, he held brief stints at the Technion in Israel and Steward Observatory in Arizona.
